Miami's Independent Thinkers is happy to announce that we are accepting artist submissions for SCOPE Miami Beach 2016 through midnight of November 11th, 2016.
Please read the submssion requirments carefully, complete the form below and press "Submit". You may pay the submission fee using the PayPal button below.

1. Overview

Selected works will be shown at SCOPE Miami Beach 2016 from November 29th - December 4th, 2016. Submissions will be accepted through Midnight of November 11th, 2016. Artwork will be selected by a Jury Panel. Artists will be notified no later than November 16th, 2016. Submission fees are as follows: there is a $45 submission fee for up to four images, $5 for each additional image. Payment accepted via paypal, with the option to pay using a debit/credit card. The $45 entry fee does not guarantee a place in the event. The fee is for processing and administration of the submission. This fee is non-refundable.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all artists living or working in south florida. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, animation, installation art, digital and film are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

3. INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS & RESTRICTIONS

Wall mounted works must not be taller than 36" and no wider than 36". Sculptural works must fit through a standard entry door, and pedestal must be provided by the artist and approved by miami's independent thinkers prior to the event. Installations can be larger than this but must be able to fit through the door. If the artwork is larger than the specs provided, please contact us.

4. IMAGE FORMAT FOR SUBMISSIONS

Artwork is accepted via online submission in the form below. Please adhere to the following format for uploading images: 72 dpi, .jpg format, no larger than 1mb each. Submissions larger than 1mb may be rejected. Please name files as follows: yourname_artworkname_1.jpg, yourname_artworkname_2.jpg etc.

5. FILM SUBMISSIONS

Films may be up to 15 minutes in length. We accept experimental films, documentaries, music videos and narratives. The format must be either .avi or .mov, at least 720 dpi provided via a downloadable link. Please copy links into the ‘artist statement’ field of the submission form. Artists must provide tv and cables.

6. ANIMATION SUBMISSIONS

Animations may be up to 15 minutes in length. The format must be either .avi or .mov, at least 720 dpi provided via a downloadable link. Please copy links into the 'artist statement' field of the submission form. artists must provide tv and cables.

7. ENTRY FEE

8. DEADLINE

The Final Deadline For Submissions is November 11th, 2016 At Midnight.

9. NOTIFICATION

Acceptance Or Non-Acceptance Will Be No Later Than November 16th, 2016 By Email.

11. COMMISSION

There Will Be A 50% Commission On Any Sales Made During The Exhibition. Please Price Accordingly. Fair Staff Will Handle All Sales.
